In the past I had success with removing the little lithium battery to reset the CMOS, at which point the BIOS worked. I placed server into a Linux based live environment, and once I was finished I rebooted the server. Running it 24/7/365 with rare spikes to 60°C should be fine. Update: the beep may have been there before, nevermind. It suddenly wont start up even if i press the power button but displays the green light on. Hold and press the F2 button then click the power Button. 2.
I did same, removed my hdd and tried to boot without hdd and set all BIOS setting to default. And sometimes it just gets the graphics to display and you can log in as normal.
