Mobo incudes sound and decent video (better than the 7000.) I just upgraded a 2100+ to this and love it. It should answer questions regarding range of processors supported, fsb speed and memory supported. If you have a machine like a dell or HP you may have to go to the hardware Take that with a grain of salt though, dont take yours to those temps. But sure you can still overclock it. Check This Out

I had 2 of them, sold one. He mentioned that is his temp while playing lock on, ie 90-100+ usage for quite some time = full load. 42C is not hot. Anyone else overclocked this chip (or similar), and if so, what Bios settings would you recommend? Related Resources I just intstalled t 1 g memory chips and only 1 g is being reported back..

My chip is currently running at a cool 42-degress while playing LockOn, so I guess theres room for overclockin it? I could easily put another one of these on to create more cooling around the cpu, or as a case fan extractor. ---- [This message was edited by Tinfish2003 on Fri celcius KebastOct 25, 2002, 5:53 AM hmmm. Can anyone tell me what to set the clock cycle speed to in the bios, it is only showing up at POST as 1100mhz. The CPU, RAM, and expansion cards all have to be able to handle the higher FSB speed for the system to remain stable. VP-Warrior01-16-2004, 09:10 AM

Unlike myself. Anyone else overclocked this chip (or similar), and if so, what Bios settings would you recommend? New motherboard will run around 60-80 bucks so that leaves you around 150 for other upgrades, I would recommend a faster processor maybe a Barton 3200 those go for about $120. Any h Can't find your answer ? And you can see that i am not only incrasing the multiplier, my FSB runs at 142MHz. He's currently running an Athlon XP 1700 on a semi-unstable ECS K7S5A with 256 megs of ram and a crappy Radeon 7000SE and a 20 gig 5400rpm harddrive. If you look at it on an overclockers aspect that is really high even taking into consideration that you are air cooling.

if u still want to lower them try some case fans or pick up a better cpu cooler.
