I remember it as lousy with OpenGL.Try with another card if you can also.And finally, move away from WinXP. I get like 0.01 FPS with LWJGL and JOGL+AWT on very low settings for some reason and I have no clue. Although I'm having issues as with my old graphics card in every D3D environment (graphic errors, flickering) using them. Did you test if it works? OpenGL renderer is recognized and hardware accelerated now with Catalysts 8.12, no GDI Generic anymore.
