It's great that I got this card for free, because if I had spent 400 dollars purchasing it, I would have killed someone already. Try backing up your system with Ghost and reinstalling Windows from scratch. I'd say I used to have a little better performnce in CS:S (prolly an average 70-90), but I think they broke it in all the patching they've done to the game. This problem is also happening to the other 4 members of the e7 squad who got these cards, and we all have differnet mobo's and setups, etc. In-game resolutions have been changed, AA, AF settings alsodo not make any difference. But I can't find any settings, but I might be over looking something.

However my new system has the 9800 Pro, XP Home, AMD XP2800+ (2.08), 1gb 400DDR (not sure which mobo), on-board Soundstorm soundcard and whilst it runs IL2 on maximum settings fine,
