You may also... check that All modern ASUS boards also have this facility. I'm using them and I highly recommend them, they're like Catalysts and you don't need the crap called .net framework. however, at this point, i'm not sure that my temperature gauge was that far off...

What's really weird is that, I plugged in my old video card (Radeon 8500) and I was having the exact same problems.
