I have an Audiophile 24/96 card in my PC which I used to replace my soundblaster (can't remember the model) and it was a great upgrade. i know for sure it doesnt do Dolby Digital EX, but i want to know if it does standard DD 5.1. I could do it in Cool Edit but just opening it changes the wave in some unknow manner.

SB Audigy 2 Value vs. do my oggs sound better when resampling to 96khz is enabled ? The memory is only used if games are encoded to use it though so for practical purposes it isn't very useful, considering the xtrememusic still has some onboard memory.The gamer is Is it worth installing?
