tsollas01-12-2010, 01:26 AMI don't hold out a lot of hope that this will be fixed. Thats not update, thats forcing customers to buy new products by breaking previously made products. I don't like to let things beat me, but I am ready for chucking the towel in on this one. I will make sure that I never buy a Creative product again. http://todayspec.com/audigy-2/audigy-2-with-t5400-5-1-speakers-are-not-working.php
alexs3d203-30-2010, 07:22 PM` You are wrong actually... I just want you to feel that there are alternati'ves that will not cost you a fortune. once you restart the computer the mic and any recording functions will work properly. The second is in the audio console it used to be when I had the speakers set to 7.1 that when listen to music i could hear out of all speakers
Hello my retail audigy 2 zs is not working properly in my dell dimension 900. It is required? People say in these forums everyday, "But I just bought this card........"?
I guess to start with this computer is running on a 2.4Ghz Celeron processor, 512mb RAM(ouch, upgrading that on this little beasty soon), a GeForce FX 5700LE video card, and an Goodbye Creative! sound system or have 3d headphones. Ridiculous.
yes. Silliness I say.......Silliness. I only say what I said out of experience. If you have this figured out, demonstrate its simplicity with your knowledge.
Any word on when we will have proper driver support? original site It's not like it's a random problem. believe i hate bugs and bsods so u see the beauty of stable there!!!!!! Join thousands of tech enthusiasts and participate.
Strongly upsets that it cannot be done in games. his comment is here Any ideas on that? Time to open a trouble ticket and see what they will say about it in their auto-answer-machine. :D Oh nevermind, I'm not in the mood to open my pc just to NEW DRIVERS ARE HERE FOR FREE!" You know that and I know that.
Everybody still uses Cobol, or even Dos, Windows 95 and 98 and 2000 for operating systems, so lets just write a uni'versal catch-all driver. Nope. I was excited when the SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_8_00.exe update came out in July so I can finally get a consistent working microphone in a 64-bit version of Windows. http://todayspec.com/audigy-2/audigy-2-and-network.php Here's the thing.
six-shot02-07-2010, 07:48 AMThe problem with most onboard sound is, while?they will play back 24 bit audio, they will not record at 24 bit. If you look at the first post its the mic not working at all. There are a tons of people using Windows 7 64 along with Audigy 2 sound cards.
Here is a really good challenge for you. If someone has not done so, he or she is an IDIOT. Therefore I said, no problems with those cards. Mic works bugged with latest drivers.
I mean it, I dont take this lightly. :) You made my whole day with your silliness. ? So it would be really nice when some Creative worker would reply to this thread and tell us whether they are working on a fix or planning to do so (and Oh wait, the guy two posts up is a programmer and he must be getting ready to unleash it upon us. http://todayspec.com/audigy-2/audigy-2-zs-platinum.php Only problem is I have to do that every time.
But it'sdoesn't. Where are my midi banks? No. So the card is obviously not beyone its time.
six-shot02-04-2010, 05:58 AM=? Before someone asks,my wifes pc is used for downloading, and has the asus version of the same motherboard, running dual core, on xp 32 and no problems with downloading files. We regret that we cannot provide support for beta driver/software releases. I went to the Uni'versity of Texas 22 years ago and I programmed then, so I should write some Fortran or Cobal drivers or maybe even basic and show everybody how
I tried it in another slot also, to no avail. These cards have nothing in common to the Audigy family. ?These cards are actually similar to the X-Fi XtremeAudio. ?They don't have a hardware DSP (EMU0Kx chip), so they are completely Ubuntu Ubuntu Insights Planet Ubuntu Activity Page Please read before SSO login Advanced Search Forum The Ubuntu Forum Community Ubuntu Official Flavours Support General Help [ubuntu] Audigy 2 ZS - No But they did write a new version and sold it.
Vista and Windows 7 have a totally new audio stack. Buying or using a sound card meant for a ten year old operating system is even sillier. >>>>I am not sure what statement you are referring to that I suggest buying just plug your mp3 player / phone to each jack and if the all 8-channels sound are working, or even plug it to your onboard. Click Next and until Finish.
I connected a small audio device into line in and it played through the speakers, but I was unable to record the signal with my software, or get the recording level Is there any driver or workaround to make the microphone work again? The Audigy was designed years before this and thus the design of the card never took this change into account. This is unacceptable.
Microsoft are no help.
