Ashampoo firewall used normally but it makes no difference if switched off. I'm curious as to what is in the batch file and would like to have a look at it, but it may be something AVG wants to keep to itself since Thank you. Why offer an uninstaller at all if it's not going to work. When viewing the status screen, it showed the Update part was "Running." I tried to uninstall the usual way but uninstallation would fail, tried installing and repair installing AVG over the top and that would fail also. Look for errors on the right. Wait for a couple of minutes. 9. two can cause issues.
