I can still scroll, but the direction is fucked up and it really pisses me off. this contact form what do I do to get the touch pad to work again? Because I think it was an update on the Elan driver that fucked everything up. I found that after the driver was uninstalled, and the computer restarted, the problem was fixed on my laptop. What I did was to install ATK 18.104.22.168 and Asus SmartGestures 4.0.9 before establishing any kind of connection to the net to avoid influences of Microsoft (updated) drivers. But manufacturers like John Deere and Apple don’t like that idea. In some cases you might have to go on the website of the manufacturer and download the drivers for the touchpad. Remove "Elan" in the Unistall or change a progam. We have a chance to protect local repair jobs—the corner mom-and-pop repair shops that keep getting squeezed out by manufacturers. I have turned the computer on and off it will move for around 1 minute and then freeze I have plugged in a mouse and it works.
